Wizard's Help Heat- Sheet

Heat-Sheet

Heat sheet insulation replaces the pink foam used under pex pipes when building infloor heating it to a building. The pex pipes just walk into place and the nodules hold it securely while pouring cement.

Heat-Sheet is a rigid foam insulation panel designed specifically for radiant in-floor heating. It has built-in channels that hold your PEX tubing securely in place and make your layout quick, clean, and consistent. By insulating beneath your tubing, Heat-Sheet keeps the warmth moving upward into your flood rather than losing it in the ground. This improves comfort, speeds up warm-up times, and helps your system run more efficiently.

Basics on In-Floor Heating Insulation Design

Most projects use Heat-Sheet with an R10 value. This provides strong insulation and excellent heat retention. It’s the most popular because it fits most installations.

Heat-Sheet can also be used for Radon Mitigation.

The Wizard will show you the available options in your region and recommend quantities based on your floor size and spacing. Heat-Sheet ships directly from their closest factory to keep delivery fast and affordable.

If part of your project uses wood floors instead of concrete, you can use metal heat transfer plates. These are designed to be installed underneath the floor, in-between the joists.
