Inside Sales & Customer Support

Full Time, Benefited, 40 Hours/week

Key Duties & Qualifications:

Job Specific Duties:

Support the outside sales team by:

  • Works with sales team to help organize appointments and shows
  • Responds to sales calls in the sales office
  • Develops customer quotes
  • Researches specific product/customer needs
  • Follows up with clients/customers by providing a high level of customer support
  • Documents all customer contacts and actions within CRM platform
  • Supports opportunity pipeline and sales forecasting within the CRM platform
  • Supports contact with CRM provider for any support issues or feature enhancements
  • Work with marketing team to manage and execute trickle marketing campaigns 
  • Stays in touch with outside sales team of any pertinent customer details/information
  • Participates in sales activities at shows
  • Provides various sales reports as needed 
  • Communicates to others within the company when a product needs to ship along with other specific details 
  • Follows up with customers to close deals and ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Is the initial customer contact regarding warranty/service issues
  • Skills/Education Required/Desired

    • Experienced Computer skills; email, word processing and spreadsheets specifically Google Docs, ERP, CRM 
    • Ability to balance internal and external customer requirements
    • Proven sales experience

    • Zoom, Google and other types of online meetings or ability to learn 
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Be able to pass a background check 
  • Key Performance Indicators
    • Number of customer sales calls
    • Number of leads followed on that resulted in deals
    • Number of customer deals closed into sales
    • Number of customer cases closed

    PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:  

    • Ability to travel, sit and work at computer/desk for extended periods of time
    • Able to occasionally lift up to 45lbs.
