Heat Transfer Plates

Heat transfer plates spread heat from your PEX tubing across the underside of a subfloor, so warmth radiates evenly up through the floor above instead of concentrating in narrow strips directly under each tube. They're used for staple-up installations — running PEX up between floor joists from below, rather than embedding it in concrete — which makes them a common choice for retrofits, second-story rooms, or any space where pouring a new slab isn't an option.
