Yes, even though you tread it under your feet all year, once in a blue moon it is recommend you do the following to keep it running smoothly:

1. Check if all light indicators are happy.

2. Open up your HUG tank

3. Check the smell,

If the smell is moldy or stinky: Check pH and if pH is below 7, add our magic stuff. (test and remedy kit coming soon)

4. Check water level, by indicator on tank. Add distilled water until water level is good.

5. Close tank

You're done! Good for another year!
